Munkadur® can be applied on a wide variety of substrates including steel, aluminium, stainless steel and concrete. The extremely smooth finish allows cleansing on cold basis using customary agents. The low concentrations of cleaning chemicals that are required to clean the newly lined Munkadur Vessels drastically reduce operational costs and contamination of effluent water. When regularly inspected Munkadur® linings can last for decades.
Safe storage of drinking water
Drinking water is usually stored in concrete reservoirs. Epoxy-based lining systems have become increasingly popular and by protecting the surface of a concrete reservoir with Munkadur® linings its service life can be substantially extended. Moreover, the smooth and non-porous finish of the lining counteracts contamination by the adherence of organic and inorganic substances.
